YGKEvents.com is a website created to list all of the upcoming events happening in the city of Kingston, Ontario in Canada. YGK is the 3 letter airport code for the city, commonly used as #ygk on Twitter when referencing Kingston.

The website was created after a trip to Las Vegas over Independence Day. Impressed by how well Las Vegas lays out its events; I was disappointed to find a complete events website lacking in Kingston. To keep up to date on all of the events in Kingston, Ontario you would have to like about 20 different Facebook pages, follow about 30 different Twitter accounts and then visit 10 different websites on a regular basis.

I created that website so it would be the one stop shop for everything event related in Kingston, Ontario. From big sales events to comedians coming to Kingston – it aims to cover it all.
